Prayag has launched a new TVC with the inherent message of love, care and respect for elderly women, especially those who become victim of the apathy of their children to the extent that they are abandoned by them
New Delhi, March 10, 2019: To mark the occasion of International Women’s Day, Prayag, a leading brand in Bath Assets & Sanitaryware, has launched a heart-touching TV Campaign that focuses on the plight of the elderly women in the wake of the increasing selfish tendencies among the new generation that is only concerned about their spouse and children but has no regard for their parents. However, Prayag has sought to convey this urban phenomenon in this TVC in such a powerful way that it may change the hearts of even the cruelest of children who regard their elderly parents as burden and leave them to fend for themselves in the twilight of their life.
The new TVC of Prayag opens with a young woman watching from her balcony an elderly mother and his son sitting on a bench. The mother has left her village with the intention to live with the family of her well-settled son in the city. The heartless son on the other hand abandons her on the road under the pretext to take her to home after he returns from office, but he never comes back. In the meantime the mother gets consoled by a compassionate young woman who misses her own mother who is no more. She eventually takes responsibility of the old woman who gets a new home now.
Launching the TVC while congratulating all on the occasion of Women’s Day, Mr. Nitin Aggarwal, CEO, Prayag said, “Our campaign focuses on how educated, independent and caring women of today can bring about social change by transcending the traditional roles assigned to genders where parents earlier depended on their sons to look after them in old age. The young woman in the TVC takes care of the old woman and heals the deep wounds caused to her by the insensitivity of her own son. ”
In a nutshell, ‘Touching Life Everyday’, the TVC of Prayag aims to spread the message that woman can act as a great positive force by empowering the old and the elderly who are let down by their sons. It powerfully conveys that “There are many ways to celebrate womanhood ….Few remain for life. Happy Women’s Day!
