New Delhi, January 01, 2017: (UNI) Aiming to provide comfort to individuals suffering from currency crunch,the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today enhanced the daily per card withdrawal limit via ATM from Rs 2,500 to Rs 4,500 with effect from January 1, 2017.
Earlier, the daily withdrawal limit from ATM was fixed at Rs 2,500 per day per card.
In a letter to bankers, the Apex Bank said, “On a review of the position, the daily limit of withdrawal from ATMs has been increased (within the overall weekly limits specified) with effect from January 01, 2017, from the existing Rs 2500 to Rs 4500 per day per card.” – United News of India
