redBus launches AI-powered Dussehra ad campaign ‘Taking India Home Sale’ with special travel offers

The campaign, running from 22nd September to 5th October, marks the spirit of Dussehra, celebrating the victory of homecomings over distance – with AI-generated ads and offers up to ₹300 off on bus, ₹200 off on rail, and 55% off on hotels across digital platforms.

Running from 22nd September to 5th October, the campaign features fully AI-generated video ads and offers designed to make festive travel more affordable and accessible. redBus will also run a follow up leg to the campaign in October, for Diwali.

The ads leverage VEO3 capabilities to create immersive festive storytelling. One film captures the warmth of traditional décor and family moments, while the other highlights the camaraderie of festive journeys. Both reiterate redBus’ role in taking millions home during the festive season.

The “Taking India Home Sale” campaign comprises four fully AI-generated ads (two for redBus, two for redRail) that capture the emotion of festive homecoming through distinct lenses.

Ad 1 (Bus)

Shifts the focus to the journey itself. It portrays travellers from different walks of life bonding on the road, exchanging festive cheer, and sharing in the collective anticipation of reaching home. The film mirrors the energy and camaraderie of India travelling together during the festive season,ending with a highlight of the exclusive campaign offers.

Ad 2

Focuses on the human aspect of train journeys and the integral role they play in connecting families and aspirations. The ad showcases a young girl embracing her parents, who have come to the railway station to receive her, capturing the quintessence of the festive season – the joy of togetherness during celebrations.  The ad then showcases festive offers which customers can use to experience this togetherness.
