Bengaluru, February 18, 2019: This weekend Orion Mall @ Brigade Gateway hosted the very popular, fusion rock band Lagori at Orion Mall @ Brigade Gateway, Rajajinagar on 16th February, 2019. The band makes music that reflects the face of modern Indian youth, combining Indian classical melodies and inflections of Rock music. The result is a mix that is high on energy, while being catchy and soulful at the same time. A Bangalore based band, Lagori’s music reflects the varied influences of each band member, culminating in a unique, fresh and honest sound. In a short time, their music has won them a growing and passionate fan base, both online and offline.
The band’s live act was an energetic performance that included material from their album, sung in Hindi and Kannada, and interesting covers and mashups of music they are influenced by. The fusion ensemble by Tejas Shankar (vocalist), Vinyl Kumar (Drummer & Backing Vocals), Geeth Vaz (Electric & Acoustic Guitarist) and Edward Rasquinha (Acoustic Guitarist).
