After a successful stint in Bollywood and television, actor Sahil Anand is all set to play a pivotal role in Life OK’s show Ek Nayi Ummeed..Roshni. The show captures the journey of doctors and brings to light the story of a good doctor, Roshni.
Coming from a family of doctors in real life, Sahil Anand feels at the right place while portraying the role of young and ambitious Dr. Nikhil Kapoor. While the cast was shooting in London, the director of the show required help with medical terminologies for the shoot that needed to be accurate. While the doctors on board were not at disposal at that moment, Sahil connected the director to his father who is a renowned doctor in Chandigarh and made sure all his queries were answered.
“I belong to a family of doctors so discussions at home often revolve around medicine and healthcare.. I could never contribute to these conversations but now I am keen to know more. When my director had doubts about a certain scene, I quickly offered help and got him through my father. They had an extended conversation and my father even expressed his excitement to see a show that takes medical technicalities into consideration.”
Ek Nayi Ummeed..Roshni will go on air starting July 13, Monday to Friday at 8pm on Life OK
