Investors from small-scale industries in Bellary, Davangere, Chitradurga and Shimoga districts will jointly hold a meet at Davangere on May 2, 2012. The Davangere meet is a precursor to the Global Investors’ Meet (GIM) to be held in Bangalore on June 7 and 8, 2012. A road show will be held in Davangere on May 2 to mark the occasion, a press release issued by the Joint Director of the District Industries Centre (DIC), Bellary, said. The investors’ meet in Davangere would be held under the stewardship of Major Industries Minister Murugesh Nirani and Small-scale Industries Minister Raju Gouda, the release said.
Industrialists and entrepreneurs willing to set up medium, small and micro industrial units, and major industrialists planning to expand existing units in the four districts could register their names with the Joint Director of the DIC, Bellary before April 28.
