New Delhi March 3, 2014:- The Union Minister of Steel, Shri Beni Prasad Verma will lay the foundation of Common Facility Center for fabrication and cluster development in Gonda on 2nd March, 2014. The demand for fabrication is increasing in the region. This unit will not only provide quality fabricated products but will also generate employment opportunities for the youth of Gonda. The centre will undertake activities like – Fabrication of Steel, training as well as testing of steel products.
The centre is being set-up with the active support of the local industrial units and Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India. The Institute for Steel Development and Growth (INSDAG) has also been very proactive in setting up the center. It is pertinent to note that the Minister of Steel has been emphasizing on development of industry in the region. He is of the belief that such centers will ensure better growth and more employment opportunities for the local youth.
