Tanvi Shah – First Indian woman to win a Grammy Award

New Delhi, January 19, 2018: She is the first Indian recipient of Grammy Award. She has been honored for her contribution to the song “Jai Ho” from Slumdog Millionaire (2010), an award she shares with maestro A.R. Rahman and lyricist Gulzar. She has also won World Soundtrack Award (2009) and the BMI Award (2009). She is a versatile singer and can sing in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese and other Latin languages.
