The Atacama Field Automatic 1900 Series adopts its namesake from the Atacama Desert, one of the most extreme stretches of land on the planet. As the driest desert on earth with daily temperatures ranging from 40ºC/104ºF to 5ºC/41ºF, only the toughest adventurers are equipped to brave its elements. The new 1900 series is designed with extreme adventure in mind but is also perfect for everyday wear. From the field to the office, this modernized take on a classic style is bound to impress.
Like previous Atacama Field models, the 1900 series will feature automatic movement, a 44mm stainless steel case and a screw-in crown. Upgrades include increased water resistance up to 20 ATM, a single curved, anti-reflective coated sapphire crystal face, and three durable strap/bracelet options: olive green fabric strap, black genuine leather, and stainless steel. The colorways of this series feature a clean, modern aesthetic, with the leather strap and stainless steel bracelet models sporting a black and silver dial, while the fabric strap model features an ivory dial. All three models are accented with an eye-catching orange on the military time markers and second hand.
The Luminox Light Technology (LLT) provides unmatched night visibility through a self-powered illumination system that lasts up to 25 years without requiring an exterior light source or the push of a button.
