Mumbai, Aug 07, 2015 : India has been chosen to host the 46th International Physics Olympiad (IPhO) that has been organized by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE). The Olympiad aims to educate and broaden the perspectives of the international intelligentsia on the socio-economic and cultural aspect of the host country. Keeping this objective in mind, the 285 member-delegation, consisting of students and professors from across the world as well as local organizers, recently visited the state-of-the-art manufacturing unit of the Godrej Locking Solutions and Systems factory in Vikhroli, Mumbai to underscore the technological progress that is being made in India.
