New Delhi August 07, 2013: The Bilateral Investment Agreement discussion with United States of America started on August 11-13, 2009 and as of now three rounds have been held on various elements of Bilateral Investment Treaty text of USA.
The recent visit of a high level delegation led by Hon’ble Commerce & Industry Minister to US has helped to reinvigorate the dialogue between both the countries. Both sides have agreed to convene next meeting of the India-US Trade Policy Forum, a bilateral mechanism to resolve and expand bilateral trade and investment relations, in this year in India.
