New Delhi, March 15, 2018: As far as Ministry of Tribal Affairs is concerned, small scale industries specific scheme has not been formulated for imparting training to tribals engaged in such industries. However, training is provided to tribal beneficiaries/entrepreneurs who are generally either unemployed or self-employed for value addition etc. in traditional skills like handicraft, tribal arts, sustainable harvesting and primary processing of minor forest produce and similar other products etc. Following is the number of such training imparted during last three years:
