New Delhi, March 07, 2019: Under Armour, Inc. (NYSE: UA, UAA) today announced the launch of operations in India. The business, which will be operated through a fully owned subsidiary, will be run by Tushar Goculdas, Managing Director of Under Armour India.

Designed to make all athletes better, Under Armour’s innovative athletic performance products will soon be available through franchised partner retail locations and e-commerce platforms. The brand’s first store is expected to launch in the coming weeks. The company’s products are worn by some of the world’s best athletes including NBA all-star Stephen Curry; golfer Jordan Speith; heavyweight boxing champion Anthony Joshua; actor/producer Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson; the most decorated Olympian of all-time, swimmer Michael Phelps; and principal ballet dancer Misty Copeland, among others.
