Vijaya Bank opens mobile counters in hospitals

Bengaluru, November 17, 2016: (UNI) Public sector Vijaya Bank has opened mobile banking vans at major hospitals in Karnataka to help senior citizens and kin of other people undergoing treatment to get exchange for denonetised Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.

One such ban was today sent to MSRIT Branch of the bank to help the people in M S Ramaiah hospital.

People who are unable to go to the Banks can exchange the Rs.500/- and Rs.1000/- notes with proper KYC up to Rs. 4500/-.

To ensure customer service by coming out of Brick and mortar branch, Bank is approaching the needy people and help them in exchanging the old higher denomination notes which have been withdrawn from circulation. Bank intends to extend such facilities to other places through our Branches as our part of our customer service delight, a release said here today. –United News of India
