Early Days
In 2012 Capital Numbers started in a much modest way by offering professional WordPress Customization services at very competitive price. The excellent quality work fetched us clients like The Harvard University and Veteran’s aid.
When It Was All Going Wrong
In search of resources, we put up jobs on popular freelancing websites but were highly disappointed with responses from mostly irrelevant profiles. Although we managed to shortlist a small team of freelancers, it became more and more difficult to manage as they belonged to different geographies. Soon the team was dismantled after few disappeared leaving the work half-way. The worst happened when one completely ignored the legal contracts and posted the client’s sites on his portfolio.
Understanding the Need and Finding a Solution
This is when we came up with a solution to benefit thousands of start-ups and agencies facing similar problems like ours. Persistent pressure to innovate and the pronounced shift to knowledge based work, led us to start our most unique service, “Managed Outsourcing”. Instead of hiring freelancers, we allowed companies to hire supervised remote workers from us who will be full time employees of Capital Numbers, working dedicatedly for client’s projects on contractual basis. Our solution brought to many small companies, an easy way of extending their team as per their requirement through choosing the best person to perform the task.
Doubling Simply
Starting with only 3 employees, currently there are 200+ highly skilled and experienced professionals working in Capital Numbers. The company earns a revenue of $2 million a year. Capital Numbers will end the current fiscal with a revenue of Rs 13 crore ($2 million) and is targeting a turnover of Rs 50 crore by the end of calendar year 2020. The company which is used as the production backend for digital agencies is looking to up its bench strength to 1,000 professionals from the current 200 employees.
