Vadodara January 8, 2014: This Vadodara based industry claims to be the first India based company to have run a plastic pyrolysis plant for 24 hours.
With an aim to develop a better future, Zorba Industries ([email protected]) has developed the first ever India based successful Plastic Pyrolysis plant in Vadodara. The company has been working on this project for the last 7 years, trying to make green fuel from plastic waste. With a research of over 7 years and working for 1.5 years on the project, the company has finally succeeded in running the plant on green fuel for a whole 24 hours. This great achievement will help in boosting the use of plastic fuel and also getting rid of plastic waste from all our cities.
In an interview with Mr. Himanshu Sutaria, the promoter of the company, the probable use of this green fuel and how the technology will be spread across the country has been revealed. Sutaria mentions, “The main aim of the company has always been to eradicate the plastic waste from our cities and using it for a purpose that will help the common man to save some money. Our team at Zorba, has done proper research on this project for over 7 years now and so, we are aware about every minor details related to Plastic Pyrolysis. This mastery over the subject helped us make Green fuel from plastic which successfully helped us run the plant for 24 hrs. The process of fuel extraction is very intricate and cannot be achieved without the proper understanding of the process”. He further adds, “Now that the Vadodara based plant has been successful, the company is planning to start working on 11 more plants all across the country. 5 plants will be installed within the next 4 months in major states like Chhattisgarh and Andhra Pradesh. The company makes commitments that can be provided and finished in the promised time.”
Plastic, like fuels, has carbon and hydrogen elements in its structure. Thus, it is very much possible to convert a regular plastic waste into a working fuel such as petrol, diesel or LPG.
