The Fabric Suppliers’ Association (FSA) has organized its 13th
‘Textrade Fair’ at Hotel Orchid Ecotel, near Santracruz Airport, Mumbai on 26th & 27th November 2013.
‘Textrade Fair’ will display collection of fabrics for summer 2014 for use in garment industry. The fair will display shirting & suiting fabrics for menswear, which will include cotton fabrics, linen, polyester- cotton etc. The range of fabrics will be included for casuals, formals and party wear. The fair will also display the latest international trend, developments & fashion forecast for 2014. Besides fabric, some sample garments will be also on display to represent the feel and look of the final product.
The fair has been organized over 2 floors of Hotel Orchid. Only garment manufacturers, retailers and fashion designers will be permitted to visit the fair. The entry will be free of charge after mandatory registration. Around 10,000 footfalls are expected during the fair.
Mr. Chainroop Banthia, President of The Fabric Suppliers’ Association informed that the overall production of fabrics in all sectors (Mills, handloom, power loom, hosiery)in India increased by 2386 million square meters during FY 13. The production of fabrics in 2012-13 became 62839 million square meters whereas the production in 2011-12 was 60453 million square meters. — (Business Wire India) —
