New Delhi, February 01, 2020: With a unified vision and the collective effort of billions of Indians, our nation is now on the path of a major transformation. As we progress and inch towards becoming a $ 5 trillion economy, it is imperative for us to create a fertile landscape of opportunities for all. The onus is on us to forge long-lasting collaborations to enable each individual to realize their true potential – Union Budget 2020, must focus on harnessing the potential of Young India.

The government should take measures to address the gap between skills that industries require and thereby, push for Learning and Skill Development programs. The Union Budget 2020, must look at improving the factors which can help create an ecosystem where India’s youth will be trained and skilled enough to be ready for the jobs of tomorrow. There is also a clear need for corporate training to become not only goal-oriented but also future-oriented. The budget must fuse necessary amendments required to meet future job demands and provide sops for learning while working, thus making it crucial for the government to start investing in L&D.
