Award in the MSME category conferred by the Department of Science & Technology for successful commercialisation of indigenous technology

Bengaluru, May 15, 2018: Bengaluru based Hind High Vacuum Co. Pvt. Ltd. (HHV), a vacuum science and Technology Company with major clients like HAL, ISRO, BARC, Titan etc, announced that is has bagged the prestigious National Award in the MSME category conferred by the Technology Development Board, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, for successful commercialisation of indigenous technology.

The Award, consisting of a citation and cash award of Rs. 15 lakh, was received by Prasanth Sakhamuri. Managing Director and S. Rama Krishna, Senior Manager, HHV from the President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind at a glittering function held recently at Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi.

HHV was selected for this award for its path breaking 3 layer metallization process on Alumina substrates for flight hardware realization catering to the Indian Space Programmes “ said Prasanth Sakhamuri, Managing Director, HHV. “This outstanding product ‘3- layer metallization on alumina substrate’ better known as Thin Film Metalized Circuits realized by populating with various components for use in high frequency RF circuits, was entirely developed by our dedicated team of R&D professionals out of HHV’s facility in Bengaluru”.

The technology required for the end product is an amalgamation of both thought leadership and precise execution leading to a superior finished product.
