Bhopal Striker’s team won the Aaktriti Premier League (APL)

Mumbai, April 07, 2015 – Aakriti Premier league (APL) was finished with high notes with Bhopal Striker’s team as the winner. Main highlight for today’s match was Match winning knock of Mr Rakesh Chourasiya of Bhopal Strikers of 112 runs. The cricket tournament of short format was organized at Aakriti Aquacity, Bhopal.

APL provided a good platform to showcase the skill and at the same time provided an opportunity to hone the team manship of the employees. Visitors enjoyed the tournament to its fullest. There were many stalls and other amenities for the visitors, which made the weekend as the perfect gateway. The tournament was planned, aiming to explore healthy avenues to realize the employee’s capacities, develop their physical abilities, build self-confidence, power and goal setting competencies and instill in the young minds a vision that will enable them to become self-motivated agents of social change to serve the healthy interests of all beyond national boundaries.

The tournament was followed by a spunky prize ceremony function where Chief Guest was honorable CMD of Aakriti Group, Mr. Hemant Kumar Soni. Other eminent personalities also graced the award function. The chief guest handed over the trophy and the man of the match award to Bhopal Striker’s team, and Mr Rakesh Chourasiya respectively.

Visitors were found to gather well before the match start at 8:00 am onwards. CMD MR. HEMANT KUMAR SONI SAID THAT, With the number of turnaround, the APL can be safely assumed to be hit. We shall continue the tradition to attract more and more young to come forward and inculcate the spirit of team culture through the game. This tournament is going to be an entertainment as well as a chance of get together amongst the employees and the family members. He further added, that such events, promote bonding the team and enhance the cohesion of the unit members. He promised that the APL will be back next year.

The match fixture was as follows: The game is divided into two groups Pool A and Pool B. In Pool the teams are there such as: HO Warriors, A1 Stars Contractors and Aqua Royals and in Pool B teams are Band of Tigers, Ecocity Lions and Bhopal Strickers. The league matches were competed with Pool A and Pool B. All matches were played for 10 over.
