Mumbai, December 26, 2024: The 20th edition of Clean India Show, along with its concurrent expos – Waste Technology India Expo, LaundrexIndia Expo and Autocare Expo, successfully concluded recently in presence of quality visitors throughout the three days. Held in financial capital of India, Mumbai at Bombay Exhibition Centre, the show received a whopping footfall of 10,069 visitors. The show garnered support from 170 exhibitors coupled with nearly 600+ brands, who showcased their latest solutions developed for enhanced cleaning, waste management, laundry and the autocare industry. The event also attracted delegates from 60+ segments, including dignitaries from the government departments as well as private organisations.
With hygiene standards becoming non-negotiable and growing importance of waste management as well as professional cleaning becoming standardised across diverse public and private facilities, Clean India Show with its concurrent shows presented innovative solutions with a renewed focus on sustainability, showcasing a series of advanced range of products and solutions from the industry.
Honourable Chief Guest Shri Mr Sanjay Katkar, Municipal Commissioner, Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation who inaugurated the expo had expressed that there is a need to connect industry and government regularly which helps government to share its problems and in turn industry helps to solve it by innovation. He also held that shows like Clean India Show are the need of the hour to take ahead vision of Clean and Green India.
As smart cities grow, upgrading mobility infrastructure and encouraging urban-local bodies (ULBs) to implement smart waste management systems aim to restore hygiene and support the Swachh Bharat Mission. A shift towards eco-friendly products was the buzz at the show. One of the exhibitors, Mr Ajith Sharma, National Sales Head, Multiline Hygiene Care expressed, “We are happy that Clean India Show, this year, has a renewed focus on sustainability in its conferences and even in terms of the products displayed. Similarly, we have launched eco-friendly and 100% biodegradable Bamboo Tissue which is made of bamboo pulp. With this show, we are promoting our products in the industries like IT, healthcare and HoReCa segments.”
Another exhibitor who attended every edition of Clean India Show Mr Ayush Saxena, Director, STAS Chem Technologies informed, “We have been associated with Clean India Show from the last six years. We meet our target segments here both domestic and international which makes this platform ideal for new launches. With the leads gathered during the show we wish to penetrate more into hotels and healthcare segment.”
The show also helped to seek customers. Mr Ashwani Kumar, Business Head, Quick Dry Cleaning, who spoke about fruitful experience at the show, elaborated: “We have been participating from 2016 as we get the industry specific people who are into retail, laundry and dry-cleaning business. While this year we also received a lot of leads from the people who are newly entering the laundry industry. We have launched our new software ‘Quick Dry-cleaning Growth Meet App’ which is partnered with Meta and is a WhatsApp marketing solution. Hopefully we will come next year with two stalls – one for the app and another for Quick Dry Cleaning Solutions.”
As India’s road infrastructure witnesses unprecedented growth, the demand for efficient road cleaning solutions is set to grow. Mr Sumedh Bhoj, Founder, Spruce Up Industries, shared insights about the company’s latest innovation: “The newly launched Stratus Machine is affordable and is designed in the USA specifically keeping in mind the requirements of Indian industries such as automotive, facility management companies, ports, airports and etc. We connected with the right stakeholders such as contractors, companies, road cleaning companies, government authorities etc. We will participate next year as well seeing the great response.”
Mr Vedant Matta, Director of Charnock Equipments highlighting on his various new launches, described: “We have received a great footfall exhibiting at Clean India Show 2024 ranging from facility management to hospitals to government and private industry such as malls, airports and more. We are extremely satisfied with the show and would happily participate in the upcoming editions as well.”
Visitor to the show, Mr Madhav Rao, Deputy Regional Manager, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), stated: “It was really a great experience for me. We were here to find solutions for upkeep of our buses. We have found some new solutions for cleaning of our buses. Until now we have been using aluminium phosphate for cleaning (fumigation) which was time-consuming, whereas we found an interesting solution that could manage this using a spray in just one hour. Secondly, we found some interesting solutions for ambience creation such as deodorization. Some other notable mentions are water recycling, cleaning solutions and plastic waste management stood out from the crowd.”
The 21st edition of Clean India Show, along with its concurrent expos – Waste Technology India Expo, LaundrexIndia Expo and Autocare Expo is scheduled from 26th to 28th November 2025.
