Creative Instincts of Students Heralded at ‘The Srishti Collective 2017’ in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, August 12, 2017: Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology is hosting ‘The Srishti Collective 2017’ from today till July 20. This annual event marks Srishti’s 21’st anniversary and it is a culmination of various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes of study in art and design.

This year’s notable event held at the Kings Court of Bangalore’s Palace Grounds was inaugurated by Shri R V Deshpande, Karnataka’s Minister for Large & Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development who lauded the efforts of Srishti in lending a boost to art and creativity through technology.

An eclectic variety of projects conceptualised by the 220 young creative professionals are being displayed at ‘The Srishti Collective 2017’ at the Kings Court, Palace Grounds. The projects range from design for social impact, future of retail design, modern healthcare, art/science interface, design for sustainability, publishing for youth, animation shorts and topical fiction besides motivating documentary films, Srishti TV, and contemporary public art installations.

A notable highlight of this year’s event is participation of the first graduating enthusiastic batch of the ‘Bachelor of Vocation’ course from the Srishti Pune campus. The Expo showcases the creative and critical thinking skills of these emerging artists and designers through superbly crafted products, services, communication and art for a globalizing world.
