New Delhi, August 12, 2017: Get Offline is a series of candid and real discussions with those in the know! As a part of the series, anti SOCIAL brings together concerned spirits across communities who use creativity and communication as a tool to address real life challenges facing our growing cities. By hacking the systems that run our cities, they are building a culture to help create an inspiring, habitable and inclusive city. An open for all event, anyone can productively be part of the discussions.

The upcoming discussion focuses on Understanding private schooling systems v/s public schooling systems , Course structure v/s skill development , Education rights v/s privilege in education .

The panelists addressing the issue are Nipun Saxena, who is a practicing Advocate in the Supreme Court of India, and takes up matters in various High Courts throughout India. Alumnus of the prestigious National Law University, Delhi, he has authored and contributed in various International and National publications of repute, and has also worked closely with the Criminal Justice Administration Reforms. He was also associated with the Additional Solicitor General of India and has worked extensively on various land mark judgments. His expertise is in the areas of Constitutional law, Criminal Law, White Collar Crimes and more. He also has a keen interest in Environmental Laws, Policy Laws, Educational Institutions and College Matters.

Teach for India is a movement of leaders, contributors and volunteers who strive to eliminate educational inequality in India. In 2006, 17 years after starting the Akanksha Foundation, Shaheen felt compelled to address the issue of educational inequity at scale. As she thought through the solution, she believed that the answer lay in a people’s movement that needed to come together to provide every child in India an excellent education.

Co-founded by Kriti Singhal, The Education Tree, is India’s fastest growing youth community, operating across a network of different schools and universities. It focuses on skill development for youngsters and is a platform for a plethora of discussions on prevalent issues.
