New Delhi, March 10, 2022: To celebrate the strong women around us and their strength in our day to day life, Crestron Electronics organised a virtual women’s day celebration on March 8, 2022. The theme of the celebration was “breaking the norms”. Through this celebration, the company wanted to pay tribute to the strength, determination and selfless spirit of women across various walks of life. They are proud of their women leaders who have taken a lead in life, broken the set norms and changed the status quo, hence the name of the event being “Breaking The Norms”
In order to give an enriching taste of inspiration and empowerment to the female audience, they invited some of the women leaders to share their inspiring journeys of life and their secret sauce of overcoming the obstacles that came their way.
The celebration was elaborate with invitees being their female employees, customers and partners. The chief guest was Irina Ghose, Executive Director – Cloud Solutions Microsoft India, and key speaker was Gagan Verma, Executive Director, Crestron India. There was a panel discussion on the journeys of these leaders and how they made their way to the top of the charts. The esteemed panellists were Janaki Krishnamoorthy, CEO, SEC Communications Pvt. Ltd. and Puneet Sawhny, Director, Solution Sales, Modern Work & Security.
To tickle the funny bones of the audience, a stand-up act was also arranged, led by the famous comedian Shreeja Chaturvedi.
The celebration was concluded by honouring two of their women leaders for their contributions, exemplary leadership and achievements. They were:
