Noida, December 10, 2016: IMS School of Law, Noida has organised their Annual Sports Day in their campus premises recently. The event witnessed great enthusiasm amongst the students and faculties and participation of all in each of the category of sports.
While declaring the day open, Dr K.J.S. Anand, Executive Director IMS Noida said, “I believe that sports help in building a better character as it promotes healthy competition amongst students. Students participating in sports inculcate good habits and develop dedication and discipline, which is beneficial for them in the longer run.”
Various outdoor and indoor games like 100 meter race, sack race, lemon and spoon race, badminton, tug of war, chess, carom, cricket and volleyball were conducted at the event which proved to be refreshing for everybody. More than hundred students took part energetically in the sports day and made this a day to cherish.
On this occasion, Dr. T. N. Prasad, Dean, IMS School of Law told that this day is extremely important for the students because active participants in sports tend to become not just better students but also better citizens. He emphasized the importance of sports in day to day life and explained its importance for better health.
