New Delhi, November 21, 2017: The inception of Industry 4.0 has triggered an extensive digital transformation across leading global industries and the emerging markets are not staying away from this revolution. Leading players are already reaping the benefits of digitizing their functions and processes. Industrial companies are leveraging manufacturing information technology, advanced automation, and analytics to improve asset performance, become more energy efficient, manage their costs, hasten new product introductions, and gain time-to-market advantages by achieving collaboration between development and production processes.

About the Speaker
Mr G Kumaradevan – Head – IT & Internal Controls – Saint-Gobain Flat Glass Business, India
As Head of IT and Internal Controls at Saint-Gobain Flat Glass India, a part of the Euro 35 Billion French multi-national group Saint-Gobain, Kumaradevan is currently managing the Digital Transformation of processes across all its functional domains.
Kumaradevan is a Mechanical Engineer with 36 Years of Industry Experience. Starting his career in 1981 as a Manufacturing Engineer, he spent 17 years in Manufacturing, Process Planning and Manufacturing Systems Engineering before taking-up a full-time IT role in 1998. In the past 19 years, he has managed several ERP implementation projects, large software development / migration projects and IT Infrastructure projects.
He is presently driving several Digital Manufacturing / Industry 4.0 Initiatives within Saint-Gobain India and leads a team that supports several Global Projects in this domain.
