New Delhi, January 19, 2018: Indian sporting legend, Chungneijang Mary KomHmangte won many accolades for the country. She is an Olympic Indian boxer and is a five time World Amateur Boxing champion. She is the only woman boxer to have won a medal in each of the six world championships. She is called as ‘Magnificent Mary’. Mary Kom became the first Indian woman boxer to fetch a Gold Medal in the Asian Games in 2014 at Incheon, South Korea.
