‘Prahaar’ Imparts the Skills of Self Defense to Females

Gurugram, March 28, 2017: A special self-defense workshop for women was organized on Sunday at “MADE EASY School” located in Sector-56. The workshop named “Prahaar” was specially aimed to provide basic techniques of self-defense to the women to protect themselves in any perilous situation. The workshop began at 10 AM and the chief guests included Mr. Hardeep Singh, DC, Gurugram, Mr. Ravi Kalra, Founder, Earth Savior, Mr. Mahesh Dayma, Muncipal Counselor, and secretary of Red Cross Society, Mr. ShyamSundar. The training was given by prominent martial arts trainer, Mr. AsifRahman, who has been training people in martial arts since eight years via his organization “Open Hand Combat”.

The workshop was attended by the students of MADE EASY School Chattarpur&Gurugram campuses, along with the students of four more schools in the region. The women from nearby places also joined the workshop, by registering themselves online. In its entire 5 hour program, women were trained in kick boxing, karate, Aikido, Wing Chun, JiuJitsu, JeetKune Do and western boxing. Speaking at the event Ms. Jyoti Singh, Managing Director, MADE EASY School said, “Observing the present day situations of our society, the workshop provided various self-defense techniques to the attendees, which will help them face any risky or notorious circumstances. This training will serve as an active shield in their lives.”
