Jaipur, December 26, 2018: The 5th Rajasthan International Film Festival organized by RIFF Film Club is going to be held from January 19th to 23rd, 2019 at Inox , Jaipur. Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Anup Jalota has been part of RIFF as Advisers since the first edition of the RIFF. This event will be screening Feature Films, Short Films, Documentary Films and Animation Films. The last date for which is December 31, 2018 and films in all languages are eligible to be submitted.
From this year, Premendra Mazumdar (Film Festival and Curator – Kolkata), Rivita Dutta (Curator and Editor – Kolkata), Ram Kamal Mukherjee (Biographer and author, Director-Mumbai), Shailaditya Bora (Film Producer and Distributor- Mumbai), Ajit Rai – Media Committee (International Film Festival – New Delhi) – Jury and Advisor In the joint role ,Raj Bansal of Jaipur (Film Distributor, Writer), Social Worker Ranu Srivastava (President Forty Women Wing) ,Sudhir Mathur (Social Entrepreneur), Akshay Goyal (District Director – BNI) and Meditation Guru Nirmala Sevani are also included in Advisory Committee. Honorable Secretary of Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce Industries Mr. K L Jain is connected with this festival as Patron and Advisor. All these people have special abilities in their respective fields and when the specialty of all the fields is collected at one place, the success of the program is ensured. Also the festival will be concluded on 23rdJanuary 2019 with a Mega Award Ceremony which is likely to see the presence of eminent personalities from the Bollywood Industries like Sanjay Mishra, Jackie Shroff, Raghuvir Yadav, Anant Mahadevan, Ashish Sharma, Neeraj Kabi, Shefali Shah, Nandita Puri, Ishaan Puri and many more.
Founder & CEO of Rajasthan International Film Festival Mr. Somendra Harsh said, “In this five-day event there will be extravaganza of film screening, seminar, workshop, knowledge series, film market, exhibition, cultural program and there will be an award function held on January 23, 2019, where the best films & artists will be honored. This year one special category has been decided as ‘The Mahatma on Celluloid’. A poster exhibition would be set by the National Film Archive of India (NFAI), Pune on the subject ‘The Mahatma on Celluloid’.”
